Abstract

•Pseudoangiomatous pattern is a rare and aggressive pattern in urothelial carcinoma.•Tumour necrosis was present in all cases, accompanied by edema, bleeding and inflammatory infiltration in the tumour stroma and lysis and discohesion of tumoral cells due to ischemia.•Tumoral cells showing this pattern were positive for GATA-3 but negative for vascular markers such as CD34 and CD31.
