Abstract
⺠Safety performance indicators for country trauma management systems were developed. ⺠Data were collected and the indicators estimated for 21 European countries. ⺠Country comparisons were conducted and combined estimates produced. ⺠Groups of countries with various levels of the system's performance were recognized. ⺠Estimating TM SPIs is not an easy but a realizable task for the majority of countries.
