Abstract
⺠Boosted regression trees are used to identify factor complexities of crash occurrence. ⺠Results indicated limited factor complexities of single-vehicle motorcycle crashes. ⺠A few variables explain most variation of crash occurrence. ⺠Unique fatal crashes are better fitted by interactive terms of behavioral variables. ⺠BRT models generally provide improved transferability than other models.
