It is the result of diverse and complex pathophysiological mechanisms that make it a difficult symptom to treat, and there are currently very few specific therapies. His study must take into account not only the pathology in question, but also the subject, its environment, its emotional capacities, and the consequences that this entails in daily life. The development of specific scales multidimensional assessment of dyspnea is the first step towards a better understanding of dyspnea, and to the development of targeted therapies.
