Abstract
												There is a strong association between OSAH and incident IPF. Chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) associated with OSAH can induce oxydative stress and the pro-inflammatory NFκB pathway. CIH exacerbates animal mortality, lung inflammation and fibrosis in vivo in mice treated with bleomycin.
