Abstract
⺠Collision configurations that are obvious safety concerns are likely to be readily identified by both descriptive data analysis and the BB test. ⺠Collision configurations that are less dominant require an engineer using descriptive data analysis to exercise a considerable degree of judgment. ⺠BB test results employ a threshold approach that greatly reduces the need for engineers' judgment and assures more consistent results. ⺠Diagnosis using both descriptive data analysis and BB test will improve the accuracy and consistency of selecting multiple countermeasures at any target location.
