Abstract
The lack of abnormalities requiring treatment on venacavography after routine IVC filter retrieval may justify omitting venacavography after retrieval regardless of dwell time. Although uncommon, extravasation requiring treatment may be seen after complex retrieval; venacavography remains warranted in this setting.
