The Chemical Security Engagement Program

The Chemical Security Engagement Program (CSP) works to reduce the threat of misuse of chemicals worldwide. It has put on a number workshops, seminars and trainings in Chemical Safety and Security in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Based on participant feed back from breakout discussions and feedback forms, there is a clear and immediate need for improved training in chemical safety and security. In particular, the need for assistance with best practices for the management of hazardous chemicals and the disposal of chemical waste are a recurring theme.
