Abstract
Plant water use strategies were compared to assess the trade-off between hydrological performance (rainfall retention) and the number of drought stress days experienced. During a 30-year climate scenario, green roofs with low water-using, drought-avoiding plants achieved high rainfall retention with minimal drought stress. R and P values were derived from correlation analysis.229
