Abstract
- An analysis supports the Jalali et al finding that “firm conclusions are not possible”.
- Jalali et al, 2016 were unable to disentangle the influence of attitude, property values and noise.
- WT attitude was only measured post-turbine and poor sleep quality may have influenced attitude.
- A small sample size and lack of multivariate analysis challenges assessing several hypotheses.
- Future study designs would benefit from SCADA data to determine the operational status of the IWTs.
