Abstract
Two different types of Ti coordination, octahedral and tetragonal, are observed by XPS analysis of the MgAlTi mixed oxides; the presence of tetragonal coordination indicates an interaction between Ti and Al2O3, improving their photocatalytic properties and efficiency for the mineralization of phenol.
