Abstract
⺠An efficient adsorbent for removal of arsenic is developed from natural laterite. ⺠A scientific basis for efficiency of laterite from various locations is developed. ⺠Household filters are designed and fabricated using this material. ⺠Field trials show that the performance of filters meet WHO limit adequately.
