Abstract
⺠Phytoremediation can result in contaminant volatilization and atmospheric transport. ⺠Phytovolatilization may be acceptable provided the chemicals released are non-toxic. ⺠SPME techniques have shown promise in air sampling depending on fiber selection. ⺠SPME can characterize the organoarsinical emissions from rabbitfoot grass. ⺠Arsine, MMA, DMA, and TMA were never detected during phytovolatilization.
