Abstract
- The efficiency of the methods increased in the following order: UVÂ <Â VUVÂ Â < UV/VUV.
- The degradation inhibiting effect of dissolved O2 increased in the order: UVÂ <Â UV/VUVÂ <Â VUV.
- In absence of dissolved O2 the radical pathway dominates during the UV/VUV photolysis.
- In presence of dissolved O2 some synergistic effect of UV and VUV lights occurs.
- VUV irradiation results in complete mineralization of NAP.
