Abstract
- Developed flat sheet PHA-sorbent for preconcentration of U, V, Cu, Cr, Fe, and Pb.
- No interference from Na, K, Ca and Mg at the levels found in the ground water.
- Quantitative sorption in a wide pH range allows direct application to natural water.
- Desorption step is avoided by direct analysis of the flat sheet sorbent by EDXRF.
- Sorbent is easy to synthesize and amenable to routine multi-elements analyses.
