Abstract
- Bench-scale experiments were performed to understand the arsenate remediation mechanisms.
- Experimental results show that the remediation rate-limiting step varied with soil pH conditions.
- When soil pH levels were maintained at the initial soil pH value, arsenate desorption was the rate-limiting step.
- When the cathode pH was not controlled, the migration of hydroxyl played a more important role.
