Abstract
- Mn-Zn ferrite was successfully manufactured from Mn-Zn waste dry battery powders.
- The addition of a reductant was found to be the key point in the dissolution test.
- The magnetization of the synthesized product reaches a high value of 63.8Â emu/g.
- The synthesized Mn-Zn ferrite was effectively used for As, Cd, and Pb removal.
- This work supports the concept of waste-battery reusable green-energy policy.
