Abstract
⺠A laboratory-scale reactor was built to simulate the “Sea Diamond” shipwreck. ⺠EEE was thrown into the reactor for heavy metal release rate assessment. ⺠15 seawater samples were taken and analyzed in a nine month experimental period. ⺠Zinc, mercury and copper were found in concentrations above the CMC criterion. ⺠Nickel and lead were found in concentrations higher than the CCC criterion.
