Abstract
► The chlorimuron-ethyl-degrader D310-1 was successfully tagged with gfp gene. ► GFP-tagged D310-1 had good survival ability in soil spiked with chlorimuron-ethyl. ► GFP-tagged D310-1 maintained high degradation activity to chlorimuron-ethyl. ► Effects of GFP-tagged D310-1 on indigenous microbial community were negligible. ► GFP-tagged D310-1 is promising for chlorimuron-ethyl-contaminated soil remediation.
