Abstract
This paper gives necessary and sufficient conditions for an essentially normal operator T to have its Câ-algebra Câ(T) generated by a complex symmetric operator. Also it is completely determined when Câ(T) is â-isomorphic to a Câ-algebra singly generated by complex symmetric operators. These both depend only on the singular part of T.
