Abstract
► Direct filtration electrocoagulation (DFEC) removed >70% DOC, >80% UV-abs-254. ► Highlighted DOC Removals: Fe, Suwannee: 73%/Nordic 65%, Al, Suwannee 69%/Nordic 54%. ► 15 s of process time with Fe (36 mg Fe/L) led to DOC removal of 44%. ► SUVA and HPSEC showed reductions from 76% to 40% in DOC > 1450 Da.
