Abstract
► A detailed economic study on solar photo-Fenton/MBR combined process is presented. ► Total costs depend highly on pollution load and chemical mineralization. ► MBRs allow high photo-Fenton cost reduction compared with conventional biotreatments. ► Competitive total treatment costs are obtained when the process is scaled up.
