Abstract
⺠Ozone pre-treatment favours biodegradation of recalcitrant metalworking fluid wastewater. ⺠Monoethanolamine, triethanolamine and benzotriazole were degraded by ozone. ⺠Novel hybrid treatment achieved 72% reduction of recalcitrant COD.
