Abstract
► The cathode reducing 4-Chlorophenol (4-CP) in Bioelectrochemistry systems. ► 4-CP dechlorination efficiency achieved to 50.3% with energy recovery. ► Consuming less energy for higher efficiency compared to electrochemistry reduced. ► 4-CP was successfully reduced to phenol with less energy consumption.
