Abstract
⺠First report on the metabolism of diclofenac in plants. ⺠Metabolism of diclofenac in plants follows mammalian metabolism. ⺠Main primary metabolite is the 4â²OH-diclofenac. ⺠Conjugation leads to the formation of glucopyranosides. ⺠Plants can enhance the efficiency of waste water treatment.
