Abstract
In this paper, the optimal harvesting problem for age distribution and weighted size competitive species with diffusion has been studied. The existence and uniqueness of solution for the system are proven using the Banach fixed-point theorem. The existence of optimal control is demonstrated and necessary optimality conditions are obtained via tangent-normal cone technique in nonlinear functional analysis.
