Abstract
► DPAA is the major contaminant in soils, originated from CLARK I and II. ► This study aimed to find the key factors affecting DPAA transformation in soil. ► DPAA transformation in soil can be enhanced by adding sulfate and carbon sources. ► Participation of sulfate-reducing bacteria in DPAA transformation was suggested. ► Unknown arsenicals, DPMAO, PAA, arsenate, etc. were found as the metabolites.
