Abstract
⺠The pool fire of thermoplastics might be related with the properties of drops. ⺠The thermal stabilities of burning polymers' drops were studied by thermogravimetry. ⺠The mass retention curve of drop nearly overlaps with that of respective polymer. ⺠The kinetic compensation effect exists for polymers and their drops. ⺠The drop of blend is composed of the continuous phase with higher thermal stability.
