Abstract
⺠A safe and economic disposal technology for toxic metals from mixed batteries waste. ⺠Performance of regenerated LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 was comparable to that of commercial electrodes. ⺠The Li[(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)1âxMgx]O2 showed an enhanced cyclability within x â¤Â 0.01. ⺠A tolerable removal level of Mg2+ was achieved without Fâ pollution caused by conventional NaF method. ⺠The recycling process exhibits extensive and promising application for battery waste.
