Abstract
⺠Hexamine was degraded by H2O2 and H2O2/Fe2+ under silicotungstic acid catalysis. ⺠Mineralization up to 70% was achieved in the presence of H2O2/Fe2+. ⺠This process is more efficient than the traditional Fenton process. ⺠Silicotungstic acid can be recycled and reused. ⺠Kinetic study based on TOC reduction was done and two steps mechanism was proposed.
