Abstract
⺠Mg0/immobilized Pd0 is an efficient system for the reductive removal of endosulfan. ⺠Endosulfan was transformed into innocuous hydrocarbon product. ⺠Pd0-Al203 and Pd0-C were recycled for 6 and 12 consecutive detoxification cycles. ⺠Organic solvents could be replaced with non-ionic detergents such as Tween 80. ⺠Immobilized palladium can be used in a reactor and reduce the water treatment cost.
