Abstract
⺠The electro-Fenton process was combined with a bioprocess for the degradation of CH2O. ⺠The electro-Fenton completely degraded 7500 mg/L of CH2O at a reaction time of 6 min. ⺠The electro-Fenton was very efficient in the formaldehyde mineralization. ⺠The effluent of electro-Fenton was efficiently post-treated using a biological process. ⺠Coupling electro-Fenton and biotreatment is a promising option for the treatment of toxic compounds.
