Abstract
A subset A of a continuum X is called T-closed set if T(A)=A, where T denotes the Jones T- function. We give a characterization of T-closed sets and then we show a counterexample to a hypothesis by David P. Bellamy, Leobardo Fernández and Sergio MacÃas about T-closed sets if T is idempotent on X.
