Abstract
⺠Study conducted to check the effect of bioaugmentation on rhizodegradation of TPH. ⺠Oil degraders used in free and immobilized form in the presence of S. cannabina. ⺠75% TPH degradation in rhizosphere was due to natural plant-microbe interaction. ⺠Rhizosphere bioaugmentation has not improved TPH degradation. ⺠Less diverse and abundant hydrocarbon degraders related with high TPH degradation.
