Abstract
												- East-west 3-D electrical structure across the northern segment of YGR was derived.
- The conductors in the middle crust are not continuous in the east-west direction.
- There is a deep conductor underneath the YGR.
- Upper crust to the east of YGR is significantly intruded by underlying conductors.
- The YGR is most likely formed by tearing of Indian lithospheric slab.
