Abstract
► Tantala nanotubes on a Ta foil were formed by anodization in a NH4F-containing electrolyte. ► Tantalum (oxy)nitrides nanotubes were active for Fe3+ reduction under visible light. ► Atrazine degradation by OH was accelerated with tantalum (oxy)nitrides nanotubes. ► Tantalum (oxy)nitrides nanotubes display stable performance for atrazine degradation.
