Abstract
The Cr isotopic composition of the pristine, fertile upper mantle is estimated as δCr53=â0.14±0.12â°, after corrections for the effects of partial melting and metasomatism. This value is in line with that estimated for the BSE (â0.12±0.10â°) previously.
