Abstract
► Fipronil's accumulation by tubifex was enantioselective in the two treatments. ► The magnitude of enantioselectivity was different in the two treatments. ► The AF values of spike-soil treatment were higher than that of spike-water one. ► Bioturbation has a significant effect when fipronil diffused from soil-to-water. ► Lower concentrations of fipronil in soil were detected in {+Tub + soil} units.
