Abstract
⺠Methanol increased n-hexane bioavailability and hence its removal efficiency. ⺠At higher loading rates n-hexane degradation depended on methanol loading rates. ⺠Treating n-hexane and methanol was accompanied by high nitrogen consumption. ⺠Biomass control strategy is dependent on the nature and the loading rates of VOCs.
