Abstract
⺠A combination of nanoparticles and biopolymer was used as adsorbent for arsenic removal. ⺠High adsorption capacity was achieved. ⺠Possible mechanism of adsorption proposed. ⺠Removal was optimum at normal temperature and pH. ⺠Operation for five cycles would reduce waste product and cost.
