Abstract
► A combination of nanoparticles and biopolymer was used as adsorbent for arsenic removal. ► High adsorption capacity was achieved. ► Possible mechanism of adsorption proposed. ► Removal was optimum at normal temperature and pH. ► Operation for five cycles would reduce waste product and cost.
