Abstract
												⺠We firstly report that Pichia sp. is able to degrade azo dyes aerobically. ⺠Pichia sp. TCL possesses excellent abilities toward various textile dyes. ⺠The decolorization conditions for Acid Red B were determined. ⺠The partial degradation pathway was proposed by HPLC-MS analysis.
