Abstract
⺠Oxytetracycline uptake and degradation by Pleurotus ostreatus mycelium were measured. ⺠The role of extracellular laccase in degradation was evaluated. ⺠The almost complete OTC removal was obtained. ⺠A possible degradation product was identified in mycelia (ADOTC). ⺠The system can be considered the first step of an useful mycoremediation technique.
