Abstract
⺠Arsenite (AsIII) stress was tested in two varieties of rice, IR64 and PB1. ⺠Physiological, biochemical and RAPD profiles were analyzed under (AsIII) stress. ⺠PB1 variety was found more tolerant than IR64. ⺠Genomic template stability was significantly affected at all AsIII concentrations. ⺠Information can be used as eco-toxicological tool in bio-monitoring arsenic pollution.
