Abstract
⺠2 different plant species and filter medium were compared in a STW pilot plant. ⺠The STW studied performed similarly in terms of sludge dewatering and mineralisation. ⺠After 3 resting months the biosolids were appropriate for land application. ⺠P. australis and Typha sp. performed similarly, wood shavings may replace gravel filter.
