Abstract
⺠Fifty different phenols were identified and determined in sewage water and effluents. ⺠Phenols removal efficiencies in different treatment processes were investigated. ⺠We concluded the most suitable process for removal of phenols from wastewater. ⺠Two different phenols posed an ecological risk to receiving waters.
