Abstract
⺠Simultaneous addition of Mn(II) and As(V) enhanced As(V) sorption on hematite. ⺠A negative effect of the pre-loaded Mn(II) on As(V) sorption was observed. ⺠Abiotic oxidation of Mn(II) occurred on hematite. ⺠Formed MnOx on hematite resulted in the mobilization of the adsorbed As(V).
