Abstract
•The Mo and Pb-Zn-Ag mineralization in the Fudian ore field formed contemporaneously.•Trace element and Pb isotopes of pyrite confirm a magmatic origin for the Pb-Zn-Ag veins.•The two types of mineralization formed a typical porphyry-related metallogenic system.•The model has implications for further exploration of Mo-Pb-Zn-Ag resources in the area.
