Abstract
⺠Manganese oxide based sorbents loaded on AC were prepared by the novel SCWI method. ⺠Sulfidation performance of SCWI(N) is obviously better than SCWI(A) and PVI sorbent. ⺠The active phase Mn3O4 in SCWI(N) sorbents is perfectly dispersed on AC support. ⺠Mn2SiO4-like species of SCWI(A) aggregates on AC and has no desulfurization activity.
