Abstract
⺠This study provides information on the tendency of biomass and coal to self-ignite. ⺠An isothermal oven procedure was followed. ⺠Results were analyzed using the Frank-Kamenetskii method and a scaling procedure. ⺠The literature contains very few studies on the self-ignition of biomass resources. ⺠This information may be of use for the design of storage installations.
