Abstract
⺠The friction sensitivity of 14 samples of primary explosives was determined. ⺠The same apparatus (small scale BAM) and the same method (probit analysis) was used. ⺠The crystal shapes and sizes were documented with microscopy. ⺠Almost all samples are less sensitive than lead azide, which is commercially used. ⺠The organic peroxides (TATP, DADP, HMTD) are not as sensitive as often reported.
